Hiking, or trekking, is an activity for all ages and fitness, as there are a variety of routes for all levels. Some indicative routes are:<\/p>\n
a) In the river Voidomatis. Starting from the bridge of Aristi, you will cross the core of the Vikos – Aoos National Park, next to one of the cleanest rivers in Europe and you will end up at the old bridge of Klidonia.<\/p>\n
b) In the Vikos Gorge. A magical journey lasting about 6 hours, starting from Monodendri, one of the largest villages of Zagori and ending in the village of Vikos.<\/p>\n
c) In Drakolimni Tymfi. Probably the most famous hiking trail, and not unjustly after all. Drakolimni is a place of unique natural beauty and peace, and gathers the eyes and interest of the whole world. This is a journey of about 10 hours, which starts from Mikro Papigo and there is the possibility of spending the night at the Astrakas shelter.<\/p>\n
Whichever route you choose, the certainty is that the landscape and nature of Epirus will compensate you with the above!<\/p>\n
